Great outcome for Wamuran Little Athletics, who have been working to upgrade toilets, long jump track and put in a new shot put ring. Look forward to seeing the completed work 👏👏Huge win for the kids at the mighty Wamuran Little Athletics! 💰 The club scored nearly $63,000 through the last “mega” round of the Gambling Community Benefit Fund. It’s going towards new tartan track on their long jump pits, another shot put ring and renovated toilets! 🏃‍♀️ 🥇 Fantastic outcome for a fantastic club!

And don’t forget - sign on for the coming season is on Sunday, 21st August with the first gathering on the evening of Friday, 2nd September.

Always great to attend Greater Caboolture Chamber of Commerce with local businesses. With 60 new business members in the last 6 months, it is fantastic to see the confidence in the local area. 👌

Fantastic to see the effort that has gone into Absorbent Minds Montessori Early Education Centre in Burpengary (Rowley Rd) today. Opening their doors next week this will be the only Montessori Early Education Centre in Moreton Bay and is a stunning design and attention to detail.
Started by Natalie and her 2 sisters, I'm sure there will be a lot of local families keen to see what they have to offer.

Congratulations crew! Such a beautiful space. X

The building looks stunning. We are so lucky to have Montessori education centre here.

There is a Montessori school on Gympie road, Caboolture… but not just early childhood.

Congratulations ladies 👏

Tony Whittred should see if we can get the girls booked in.

Council has been releasing a series of information brouchers for builders and home owners to guide buyers on what to look for when buying land and building a home. 👷🏻‍♂️🏡 The latest one is on backyards and outdoors spaces.

Your backyard and outdoor spaces guideline gives tips on:

✅ design functional and comfortable outdoors spaces including your backyard, front yards and small gardens
✅ create green amenity surrounding houses and contribute to the cooling effect of your home through natural vegetation
✅ provide simple tips on fruit and vegetable gardens, composting and worm farms, water saving and storage
✅ contribute to your local ‘naturehood’ through garden plant recommendations specific to the Moreton Bay Region.

Check out the guideline booklet here:👇🏻

This is such an important program of an issue that is often over looked. Enabling young people to get their licence is in some cases the keys to a brighter future.

Can you spare an hour?

Congratulations to Wayne and the team from Pumicestone Rural Fire Brigade for a successful Golf Day fundraiser to raise money for a new truck. It was great to be able to support the day to happen with a grant from Council. 👏👏

Taking home 4th place with the guys from Rocksberg Moorina Rural fire Brigade was no thanks to me.

I’d like to see a regular calendar of where you are, what time you’re there and for how long. Perhaps we could have that in your monthly new letter for those of us who are not on fb 24/7. Cheers

You need to put what time you are leaving buddy.

Hi Tony, you are our local member and we live in Burpengary (small part of your map area) it appears from your posts you live in Woodford or close by as you are always promoting this area - I feel like our little pocket of Burpengary (as mark booth has majority) is very neglected and never mentioned - you need to organise a meet on hunt road Burpengary - you will get a good amount of locals meet you for chats!

Tony just wondering what the set up is for the Community Vege Patch in the trees that were planted in Mountain Track ? Is it being run by an official Community Garden group?

Where is this Councillor Tony Latter - Serving our community as I didn’t see you when I drove along Bellmere Rd.
